Design Planning
The City of Sheridan does not currently have a design plan. This has resulted in inconsistent and aesthetically haphazard design usage. Currently, Forward Sheridan has been facilitating discussion between the City of Sheridan Planning Department and Urban Design Associates, specialists in design planning. To address the design planning needs of Sheridan, the City would need to engage an urban design consultant to establish an urban design plan. The urban design consultant will then work with community leaders and citizens to create a design plan for the community, incorporating the community's vision. This design plan would include implementation strategies, pattern books to guide the design review process, and design guidelines to modify existing code to reflect the design plan.
