Airline Service

The Airline Service Task Force has come together to address air service in Sheridan County by supporting efforts to:
  • ensure that the number of flights to and from Sheridan County Airport continue to increase
  • increase the number of seats available to passengers wishing to fly to or from Sheridan County Airport
  • ultimately bringing larger planes to the local airport with improved services to include:
    • restrooms
    • flight attendants
    • nonstop flights to more destinations
    • modern/convenient ticketing services
    • more code sharing
The task force is comprised of members of the community whose businesses are most affected by airline service such as owners/managers of resorts and guest ranches and businesses that frequently travel long distances, as well as advertising and marketing executives and members of nonprofits involved in the tourism and economic development industries.
